Fairly easy care. Lots of water in the heat of the summer. Fertilize at least every 7-14 days. And keep the old blooms picked off to keep the new ones coming all summer long. Hope this helps...Justin Cerny

Poinsettias are very sensitive to root problems. Sometimes if the roots stay too wet for too long the plant can start to get root rot. Let your plant dry out and then water very sparingly. It might come out of it.
If the variety you ask is lantana, it is a annual in Wisconsin.
A very common disease related to begonias is powdery mildew. Avoid watering late in the day and keep the foilage as dry as possible. Pick off infected leaves and spray with a fungicide. We recommend copper fungicide, available at our greenhouse.
The two most common reasons are: Planting too deep or too shallow. The eyes should be an inch below the soil. The other problem is a late frost that kills the microscopic flower bud but does not affect the foilage.
