Cerny’s is once again providing our customers with many educational opportunities this season. Some old and some new, but always an exciting, hands on experiences. We feel it is important to provide classes so our customers can question, learn, and be more successful in their gardening endeavors. Here is a list of the classes being offered this 2011 season:
Container Workshop-
The exciting part about this class is that the only thing you are charged for are the plants you use. Bring containers from home or purchase one at Cerny’s. Soil and fertilizer is included at no extra cost. Work with our design experts to create your own unique container.
Moss Basket Class
Come in and work with our design experts to create your own moss hanging basket. The cost is $40 with all materials included. Once completed you may take your creation home or leave it at Cerny’s until Memorial weekend.
Plant your Junk-
Bring in your old “junk” from around the house to be planted and entered into a contest. Once containers are planted they will be left at Cerny’s for one week for people to vote. The winner will be announced June 18th. Once again the only cost to you is the plants you use.
Girls Night Out-
A fun filled night of hors’ devours, wine and vendors, will be concluded with a power point presentation by Dr. Deanne. Following Thursday night’s presentation there will be a hands on class offered Saturday July 16th. See article on Dr. Deanne for more details.
If you are interested in learning and expanding your knowledge with new hands on experiences, stop in or call 715.453.4143 with any questions or to register for classes. Most classes are about an hour or less. We look forward to hearing from you.
